You know the type of thing, being thrown into the air while sitting in a mobile toilet or slapping someone with a giant hand while they least expect it. (Come to think of it who would expect that?) The movie Jackass 3D will be released this autumn.
In keeping with the spirit of Jackass and its many imitators, one of Britain's richest men is dishing out thousands of pounds to people brave enough to put their safety on the line.
Billionaire Alki David, who is worth 1.2 billion pounds ($1.9 billion) and comes in at number 45 of the Sunday Times' rich list in the UK, is offering cash for daredevils to upload stunts onto a Web site called Battlecam to encourage them to film and upload stunts.
"We started doing dares and it has become more and more outlandish as every day goes by," David, who has paid out 166,000 pounds over the last 3 months to pranksters from across the world, told the Metro newspaper in London. "It is great fun and entertainment."
Naked in Front of Obama
David is now offering $100,000 to anyone who is prepared to get naked in front of President Barack Obama with "Battlecam" written on their chest while shouting "Battlecam."
David, who has not made any money from Battlecam yet, said he has always been a practical joker despite it getting him into trouble in the past.
"I got suspended from school for pranks – it's in my genes I think," he said.
