Here's what's up on Friday's Squawk on the Street:

--The jobs report. We'll have the White House's first reaction, we'll get first reaction from traders and we'll see how the market reacts when the bell rings at 9:30 a.m. ET.

--Plus, we're looking at the airline stocks. Clearly, Hurricane Earl is disrupting air traffic this holiday weekend. We're watching that, and the airline stocks. United Airlines [UAUA  Loading...      ()   ], Continental Airlines [CAL  Loading...      ()   ], Delta Airlines [DAL  Loading...      ()   ], Alaska Air [ALK  Loading...      ()   ] and Hawaiian Air [HA  Loading...      ()   ].

--Telecom's also on our list. AT&T [T  Loading...      ()   ] and Verizon [VZ  Loading...      ()   ] are two of the players we're watching.

--And financials have really been beaten up this summer. So, as we move into the fall, is this a sector worth getting into? We're looking at Goldman Sachs [GS  Loading...      ()   ], Citigroup [C  Loading...      ()   ], Morgan Stanley [MS  Loading...      ()   ], Wells Fargo [WFC  Loading...      ()   ], Charles Schwab [SCHW  Loading...      ()   ] and E-Trade [ETFC  Loading...      ()   ].

--Today's Street Poll asks if you think the jobs situation will get better or worse before year's end?  Share your opinion, and watch Squawk on the Street live from the New York Stock Exchange starting at 9 a.m. ET, only on CNBC.
