Allen calls this model "a real-deal nostalgia race car." This 1957 Chevy 150 was built in California and raced there in the 1960s and '70s during the heyday when the state was dotted with drag racing strips, he said.
The same family owned this car until early 2009. The engine is out of a dual quad 1958 Corvette finished off with 65/66 Corvette "Fuelie" double hump heads. "If this car could talk, boy the stories we would hear," said Allen.
