Cashin says good shot ECB could announce QE

Art Cashin said he's hearing the "majority of the players" on Wall Street are going to "come in with a bullish bet" on the government's March employment numbers, due Friday morning.

Cashin, UBS' director of floor operations at the NYSE, told CNBC's Bob Pisani around midday that "some people are going out on a limb" with predictions non-farm payrolls grew by 250,000 last month. The consensus forecast from economists is around 200,000.

Cashin said many on Wall Street are "assuming the weather will give them some benefit, and if they don't get the benefit, they can still blame it on the weather."

"I'm hearing nothing but people setting up bullishly going into Friday's number."
