After-hours buzz: Anadarko Petroleum, Apple & more

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Monday:

American International Group - The insurer reported quarterly earnings per share of $1.21 on $8.23 billion in revenue, versus estimates calling for EPS of $1.07 on $9.36 billion in sales. Its shares edged lower in after-hours trading.

Anadarko Petroleum - The oil and gas company reported adjusted first-quarter earnings per share of $1.26 on $5.84 billion in revenue, topping expectations. Its shares rose in after-hours trading.

Apple - The consumer technology company edged higher in after-hours trading after finishing the regular trading session at $600.96, the first close above $600 since Oct. 26, 2012, when it settled at $604.

Tableau Software - The maker of data analysis software reported an 86 percent rise in quarterly revenue as it added 1,800 new customers. Its shares jumped in after-hours trading.

Vornado Realty Trust - Shares rallied in after-hours trade after it reported first-quarter results.
