The NCAA reached a $20 million settlement Monday with former players over college-themed football and basketball games produced by Electronic Arts. However, EA's CEO Andrew Wilson said that settlement will not affect the company's strategy.
EA reached a settlement in the case last fall.
"We have actually moved away from making college-themed sports properties. In regards to football, we are focused on our core Madden NFL product and really looking forward to continue to drive innovation and creativity around that product," Wilson said in an interview with CNBC's "Closing Bell."
