After-hours buzz: Intel, Finisar, Capstone Turbine & more

Check out which companies are making headlines after the bell Thursday:

Finisar - The telecommunications firm reported fiscal fourth-quarter earnings of 27 cents per share on $306 million in revenue. Analyst had expected the company to report EPS of 38 cents per share on $303 million in revenue. Its shares plunged in after-hours trading.

Intel - The chip-maker raised its outlook for the second quarter and the full year, citing stronger-than-expected business PC demand. Shares moved higher in after-hours trading.

Capstone Turbine - The electrical components maker reported a fourth-quarter loss of 1 cent per share on $36.4 million in revenue. Shares moved lower in after-hours trading.

Nektar Therapeutics - Shares of the biopharmaceuticals company resumed trading after the bell after being halted on the NASDAQ yesterday. Shares jumped in after-hours trading.

MobileIron - Shares of the mobile security provider moved higher in after-hours trading after gaining more than 22 percent in its market debut Thursday.
