"It's definitely kind of pinkies down." That's how Ryan Harms, owner and winemaker of Oregon-based Union Wine Co., describes his new wine in a can.
The form function of wine has certainly evolved over the years with wine-in-a-box and more recently screw-top bottles.
But wine in a can that's about the size of a beer is rather uncommon and a way to take the pretense out of wine, Harms said in a "Squawk Box" interview. "The can is a perfect vehicle to simplify things."
