AutoDesk - The software company gained after Credit Suisse upgraded the stock to outperform from neutral.

AutoNation - The car retailer jumped after reporting third-quarter figures for new vehicle sales.

GoPro - The maker of action cameras fell after its founders were granted permission to break a lockup on their shares to set up a charity.

Kandi Technologies Group - The Chinese company's shares rose on news that its electric vehicle passed inspection in the city of Nanjing.

Mylan - The generic-drug maker climbed after ISI Group offered a positive analysis.

Nabors Industries - The provider of drilling-and-rig services, as well as competitors such as Helmerich & Payne, dropped along with the price of oil.

Wayfair - The online home-furnishings retailer jumped in its market debut.
