Prokhorov: Want the Brooklyn Nets? Call me

Brooklyn Nets ownership is open to hearing offers to sell stake in the NBA franchise, but "there is nothing imminent in terms of a sale," owner Mikhail Prokhorov said in a statement on Tuesday.

"Ownership is always open to listening to offers—that's just good business," he said.

The franchise is worth about $1.3 billion but a potential sale could top the $2 billion former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer paid for the Los Angeles Clippers last year, Bloomberg reported.

The Nets declined to comment on a potential sale beyond Prokhorov's statement.
