CNBC Meets: Maria Sharapova, part two

In part two, Sharapova talks about having to go through shoulder surgery at the peak of career, and how she came back after falling out of the top 100 rankings to win the French Open, the Grand Slam she had never won before.

It was during her time recovering from injury, uncertain of the future of her tennis career, that Sharapova came up with the idea for her candy business line, "Sugarpova".

Off the court, Sharapova supports numerous United Nations Development Program projects in Chernobyl-affected regions from renovating sports facilities and hospitals to creating computer centers.
