Just when it looked like former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg had settled into running his financial data and media empire once again, some want to push him back into the political arena. The New York Post is reporting that some New York Democratic leaders are trying to entice Bloomberg to make a run for president, setting the stage for a primary battle against front-runner Hillary Clinton.

They also believed Bloomberg could be interested because, as one of them told me, 'Mike can't stand Hillary.'"
When contacted by CNBC.com, a spokeswoman for Bloomberg LP said the former mayor declined to comment on the Post report.
