The list of countries reporting cyberattacks on government servers just grew by one.
Canadian Parliament member Tony Clement confirmed in a tweet on Wednesday that Canada's servers were attacked, urging citizens to instead call 1-800-OCanada until full government service was restored.
Hacking group Anonymous took responsibility for the attack in an apparent retaliation to Canada's recent approval of new anti-terrorism laws.
Government service websites such as canada.ca as well the site for Canada's spy agency were among those originally affected.
