Zoos are the latest victims of data breach

Gift shops and concession stands at zoos in at least two dozen cities are the latest victims of a data hack, according to cybersecurity news site Krebs on Security.

Service Systems Associates, a company that processes transactions for gift shops and restaurants at zoos, has "acknowledged a breach of its credit and debit card processing systems," according to the report.

In a statement, the company said that the breach occurred at the registers. Point of sale malware was also to blame for many of the other large retail breaches, including Target and Home Depot.
