Amazon.com experienced intermittent outages Thursday afternoon ET on desktop, mobile web and its mobile application.
Reports first began to surface of the service outage around 2:25 p.m. ET, and the issue appeared to be resolved about 15 minutes later. Initial social media reports indicated that people experienced the outage in the U.S., but the full extent of the issue was not immediately known.
The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but in a Spanish-language tweet, the Amazon Help Twitter account said it was working to resolve an issue.
