Amelia Bourdeau is a director, senior foreign exchange sales at UniCredit AG, based in New York City.
Prior to joining UniCredit, Bourdeau was a director of FX at Westpac Institutional Bank. Before that, Bourdeau worked as the senior G10 FX strategist at UBS AG. She also has buy-side experience having worked both for a global macro hedge fund and a Pan-Asia macro hedge fund as its Head of Macro Strategy. She has held multiple positions at Deutsche Bank as a U.S. economist, head of Canada economic research and vice president, Global Markets. Bourdeau started her career as a research assistant at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors in Washington, D.C.
Bourdeau has been a featured speaker at FX conferences and has participated in various professional FX meetings around the world.
She graduated from Amherst College with a B.A. in economics and political science magna cum laude.
