DENVER-- Denver police said they have no suspects in the killings of five people whose bodies were found at a neighborhood bar after it was set on fire early Wednesday, apparently to cover up the slayings. The Denver medical examiner said the victims included Young Fero of the Denver suburb of Aurora.

Boulder, Colo.- based New Frontier says LFP Broadcasting LLC has agreed to pay $2.02 per share, plus up to 6 cents more per share if New Frontier maintains a cash balance above about $11.5 million.

NEW YORK-- A Republican-leaning independent group supporting Mitt Romney's presidential bid is spending $11.1 million on new television ads aimed at women. The group planned to air the new ad on national and local cable stations, and in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio and Virginia.

Light synthetic crude for November delivery last sold for $3.90 a barrel over benchmark West Texas Intermediate, compared with $4.25 a barrel over WTI on Thursday, according to Shorcan Energy Brokers. November Western Canada Select heavy blend was quoted at $14.75 a barrel under WTI, a 10 cent deeper discount on the day.
Wheat for December delivery fell 29.25 cents to finish at $8.5675 per bushel. The weekend rains are expected to help winter wheat crops that have been plagued by dry weather in western Kansas, western Nebraska and eastern Colorado.
Texas- based oilfield services company Baker Hughes Inc. reported Friday that 1,411 rigs were exploring for oil and 422 were searching for gas. Of the major oil- and gas-producing states, Texas gained four rigs while Alaska, New Mexico and Oklahoma gained one apiece. Arkansas, Colorado, North Dakota and Wyoming lost one rig apiece.
