    ALLENTOWN, Pa.— Eastman Chemical Co. is buying specialty chemical company Taminco for approximately $1.73 billion. Eastman Chemical said in a statement that the acquisition will strengthen Eastman Chemical's presence in markets such as food, feed and agriculture.
