Mattress Firm shareholders plan offering
HOUSTON -- Bedding company Mattress Firm Holding Corp. says some of its stockholders are planning to sell about 4.7 million shares of the company's common stock.
The banks managing the offering could buy about 709,000 more shares if there's demand for the stock.
Mattress Firm said Monday that it is not selling any shares in the proposed offering.
The Houston company went public in November 2011 at $19 per share. The stock closed Friday at $28.15.
