ANA starting Boeing 787 on Seattle-Tokyo route
SEATAC, Wash. -- All Nippon Airways puts a Boeing 787 into daily service Monday on the Tokyo-Seattle route.
The flight from Tokyo is scheduled to arrive just before 11 a.m. at Sea-Tac Airport. It departs just after 1 p.m.
A number of airline, Boeing Co., and Port of Seattle officials will be on hand to celebrate the event.
ANA was Boeing's launch customer for the 787, a fuel-efficient widebody twinjet. The airline started the Seattle-Tokyo route in July, using a Boeing 777.
