September Auto Sales: Nissan
FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Nissan North America Inc. said Tuesday that its September U.S. sales fell 1.1 percent on lower demand for its passenger cars.
BY THE NUMBERS: The Japanese automaker sold 91,907 vehicles last month, down from 92,964 in the same month last year.
TOP SELLER: Nissan sold 24,488 of its Altima sedan, down 0.4 percent from 24,356 in September 2011.
HOT MODELS: Sentra sales jumped 15.3 percent to 9,345, while Pathfinder sales jumped 38.7 percent to 3,205.
