Swiss & Global Asset Management has an "overweight" position on equities for its fourth quarter investment strategy, and backs the health care, consumer goods and IT (information technology) equity sectors.
"Central bank intervention has defused the crisis in Europe. Heightened investor confidence and a greater appetite for risk have created a better environment for equity investments. The equity allocation is overweighted at the expense of liquidity," it writes in a note.
"The valuation discrepancy between risky investments and government bonds has widened, offering interesting opportunities," it adds.
