CORRECTED-TABLE-Russian Sept CPI up 0.6 pct m/m, 6.6 pct y/y

MOSCOW, Oct 4 (Reuters) - Russia's consumer price index rose by 0.6 percent month-on-month in September after rising 0.1 percent in August, the Federal Statistics Service said on Thursday.

Annual inflation accelerated to 6.6 percent in September from 5.9 percent in August.

The increase was in line with analysts' expectations of a rise in the CPI index of 0.6 percent for September in a Reuters poll
