ATLANTA -- Haverty Furniture Cos. said Thursday that its revenue grew 11 percent in the third quarter as sales increased at established shops.
Revenue rose to $172.7 million from $155.4 million a year ago. At locations open at least a year, revenue rose 10 percent. That's a key measure for a retailer because it leaves out results from sales that opened or closed within the last 12 months, which can skew normal business trends.
The home furnishings chain has 121 locations in 17 states in the South and Midwest.
