Indian shares snaps weekly gaining streak; Infosys slumps

MUMBAI, Oct 12 (Reuters) - Indian shares fell on Friday, posting its first weekly fall in six, as Infosys slumped after disappointing investors with its growth outlook, with caution also setting in ahead of key inflation data next week.

Infosys dropped 5.7 percent.

The BSE index provisionally fell 0.78 percent, while the 50-share NSE index lost 0.56 percent.
