MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- West Virginia University is getting more than $476,000 in federal funding for a mental and behavioral health training program.

The grant will be used to train 25 master's-level social work students in mental and behavioral health primary care services, treatment and prevention services, child and family services and mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Training also will include school and community services for rural areas with a focus on children, military personnel, veterans, and their families.

U.S. Senators Jay Rockefeller and Joe Manchin announced the funding from the health care reform law on Sunday.
