Mattel Inc., the largest U.S. toymaker, said Tuesday that its net income rose 22 percent in the third quarter, helped by sales of Fisher Price and Monster High dolls and cost costs. Here's a closer look at revenue results by category.

Total quarterly revenue: Up 4 percent to $2.08 billion

_ North American revenue: Up 6 percent

_ International revenue: Up 2 percent

Top brands:

_ American Girl: Up 16 percent to $102 million

_ Barbie: Down 4 percent

_ Fisher-Price: Up 6 percent to $790.4 million

Girls and Boys brands revenue (includes Barbie): Up 3 percent to $1.37 billion

_ Girls brands other than Barbie (Monster High, Disney Princesses, others): Up 57 percent

_ Wheels (Hot Wheels, Matchbox and Tyco R/C, others): Down 1 percent

_ Entertainment (Radica, games, puzzles): Down 18 percent
