Cintas boosts annual dividend to 64 cents
CINCINNATI -- Cintas announced a 10-cent increase to its annual dividend.
At 64 cents, new dividend represents a 19 percent increase over the Cincinnati uniform supplier's previous annual dividend. The new dividend will be paid on Dec. 12 to shareholders of record as of Nov. 9, Cintas said.
The dividend increase follows a year of strong sales and profits. The company said in July that its full-year profit jumped 21 percent to $297.6 million, or $2.27 per share. Revenue increased nearly 8 percent to $4.1 billion.
Shares of Cintas Corp. rose 15 cents to $42.15 in afternoon trading.
