Lucky Picks in 2013
Bank of America hits a 52-week high, reports CNBC's Mary Thompson. Also, the FMHR traders provide their best bet plays for the New Year.

Four trades are poised to post gains for 2013, the CNBC "Fast Money" pros said Wednesday.

OptionMonster's Pete Najarian's top pick was building-materials company USG, citing positive sentiment from Goldman Sachs and RBC, both of which included the company among their top picks.

Najarian also noted Berkshire Hathaway's "huge position" in the name.

"I actually think they're going to have some stronger pricing going into 2013," he added. "For that reason, I think the stock is cheap."

Joe Terranova of Virtus Investment Partners liked financials.

"You're going to continue to see reserve releases, but also look on the capital markets side," he said. "Goldman Sachs, I think, has tremendous appreciation potential in 2013. In the regionals, look for some M&A activity."

Terranova also picked Regions Financial. "I believe that's a name that could be in play," he added.

Jon Najarian of OptionMonster liked VMWare.

"This is one of those great stories that continues to move forward because of the adoption of virtualization and the cloud, whether it's Amazon or anybody else," he said. "I love this play."

Stephen Weiss of Short Hills Capital selected a different trade.

"I think for me the winner is going to be short bonds, particularly the 10-year," he said.
