Bulls, Buy These Dips: Stephanie Link

The stock market is presenting an opportunity into the new year, TheStreet CIO Stephanie Link said Thursday.
"What you want to do is use the volatility to your advantage," she said on CNBC's "Fast Money."

Link was bullish on the U.S. economy's strength and noted growth in Brazil, India and China, as well.
Once lawmakers in Washington deals with the federal debt ceiling issue into the March deadline, more gains likely lie ahead, she said.
Current levels augured well for investors, Link said.
"You have to use these dips to position yourself for 2013," she added.
RiskReversal.com's Josh Brown said that he welcomed the stock market's performance mid-day.
"If you're bullish, what you really want to see here is a shallow, light-volume pullback. You certainly don't want a huge extension of what we saw yesterday, so I think the fact that we're kind of flat-ish but not giving back too much of the gain is really, really positive," he said.
Brown called it a "stock-picking" environment, rather than buying broadly.
"I don't see anything not to like if you're of the bullish persuasion," he added.
