Dollar Corrects, Yen Slips, Rand Falls

The dollar corrected higher, rising against all its major counterparts, after Thursday's selloff. [dailyfx.com]

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the Bank of Japan should add employment to its existing mandate, and the yen slipped further against the dollar. [CNBC]

A disappointing U.K. industrial production report sent the British pound lower. [dailyfx.com]

The Chinese yuan closed near a record high after strong economic reports and indications that the central bank would tolerate the currency's appreciation. [CNBC]
