WASHINGTON, Jan 17 (Reuters) - The Federal Reserve is continuously reassessing monetary policy, Richard Fisher, the Dallas Fed's hawkish president, told Bloomberg television.

Fisher, who has opposed Fed asset purchases, said conditions in the economy would determine when the central bank ceases to buy assets or slows down the pace of purchases.

"We're constantly reassessing and assessing the situation to see what's needed," Fisher said. "I cannot give you a specific time frame, that depends on the conditions in the economy."
