HP sells webOS operating system to LG Electronics

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb 25 (Reuters) - Hewlett-Packard Co. said on Monday that it is selling its webOS operating system to LG Electronics Inc.

LG will use the operating system for its smart TVs.
