Facebook Announcing Big Changes to News Feed Next Week

The Facebook news feed will be getting a face-lift soon, the company said in a press invite to media Friday.

"Come see a new look for News Feed," the invitation said.

The event will be next Thursday morning at the company's headquarters in Menlo Park, Ca.

It's not clear exactly what the company plans to change or if CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be speaking, but odds are the change will be something to enhance ad engagement. It could also be a change to the mobile news feed.
