New Series Of CNBC Meets Launches With President Bill Clinton
LONDON,12 March 2013 – CNBC, the world's leading business and financial news channel, has announced a new ten-part series of its successful CNBC Meets series, which will debut on 20th March with an in-depth interview with one of the world's most iconic political figures, former U.S. President Bill Clinton.
The new series, hosted by CNBC presenter Tania Bryer, will profile some of the world's most influential high flyers and examine how they have achieved success in their career, their home life and their commitments to philanthropy. The series will be sponsored by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
In each half-hour programme Tania Bryer will get 'up close and personal' with its interviewees with unprecedented access to each guest.
In an insightful interview filmed at the Presidential Library in his home town of Little Rock, Arkansas, President Clinton talks about his difficult childhood and how meeting Hillary Rodham at Yale Law School changed his life. He reflects on his eight year administration and how people, policy and politics have shaped his ethos and his philanthropic activities today.
Bryer also sits down with Chelsea Clinton and actor Sean Penn, a close personal friend of President Clinton, to discover more about this extraordinary man.
The second episode in the series will interview Boris Johnson, Mayor of London and will air on 17thApril 2013. Other guests will be announced in due course.

The CNBC Meets series has featured interviews with Tamara Mellon, Richard Desmond, Naomi Campbell, John Caudwell, Kelly Hoppen, Vidal Sassoon, Jon Bon Jovi and Sir Richard Branson.
