Apple Yanks Down iForgot Password System Over Security Flaw
Apple temporarily took down its iForgot password system Friday after it discovered a security glitch.
"Apple takes customer privacy very seriously. We are aware of this issue, and working on a fix," the company said in a statement.
The security flaw would have allowed someone to reset another user's Apple ID if they knew the person's email and date of birth.
