Henry Schirmer

Henry Schirmer is senior vice president and chief financial offer of Unilever North America. In his 20 year career, Schirmer gained international leadership and management experience in the fast moving consumer goods industry and industrial sector under corporate and private equity ownership.

Prior positions include, vice president-finance of Unilever's operations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, chief financial officer and member of the Executive Board of the Birdseye Iglo Group and vice president of Mergers and Acquisition of Unilever, where he was responsible for deal origination and execution across Unilever's global portfolio.

He has a master's degree in industrial engineering and management from the Technical University of Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) in Germany.

Unilever employs more than 12,000 people across North America, generating over $10 billion in sales in 2012.
