Nigeria's Lafarge cement says doubles full-year pre-tax profit
LAGOS, March 27 (Reuters) - Lafarge's Nigerian unit, Wapco , said on Wednesday its full-year pretax profit more than doubled to 21.26 billion naira ($134.26 million), compared with 10.34 billion a year ago.
In a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange, it also said it would pay a 1.20 naira per share dividend to shareholders.
Lafage's turnover also rose to 87.96 billion during the period, from 62.50 billion naira a year ago, it said. ($1 = 158.35 naira)
