NEW YORK -- Shares of some top big-box retail companies are mixed at 1 p.m.:

Costco Wholesale Corp. fell $.68 or .6 percent, to $105.68.

Target rose $.38 or .6 percent, to $68.36.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. rose $.07 or .1 percent, to $76.07.
