"We have just learned that Google changed their policy over the weekend to ban our porn app for Google Glass. The website will function as normal, but we are making changes to the app to comply with the new policy," MiKandi CEO Jesse Adams said in a blog post on Monday evening.
The MiKandi's app, called "T--- & Glass," allows users to view and share pornographic content from a point-of-view angle. It also allowed them to comment and vote on their favorite content.

As of Monday evening it had been downloaded over a dozen times, Adams said. He said his website had more than 10,000 visits.
While the app did not originally conflict with the Google Glass platform developers' policies, Google recently changed its rules to ban "explicit" content, Adams told CNBC.

"We don't allow Glassware content that contains nudity, graphic sex acts or sexually explicit material," Google's revised policy states.
Adams said he originally learned about the changes during the weekend, but had still not been contacted by Google.
Even though Google has not reached out to MiKandi about the app, Adams said that his company is making changes to comply with the new policy.
