Apple has finally unveiled its first low-cost handset, dubbed the iPhone 5C, in a highly anticipated event at its headquarters in California on Tuesday.

The iPhone 5C features a plastic casing and is available in a variety of bright colors including green, pink, yellow and blue. It starts at $549 without a contract, and $99 with a two-year contract in the U.S.
