Toyota Motor, the world's largest automaker, is increasing the number of vehicles it will build in the U.S. and export to other countries.
Starting next April the company will take more than 7,500 Corolla models built in Tupelo, Miss., and ship them to 21 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. It's the latest sign that Toyota is diversifying and exporting more vehicles from plants outside of its home country of Japan. The company has designated the U.S. as an export hub.
