Mr. Antonio C. Moncupa, Jr., has 28 years of banking experience in the fields of Credit, Corporate Planning, Treasury, Trust, Finance, and Risk Management. He has been the President and Chief Executive Officer of EastWest since 2007. He currently sits on the board and is the First Vice President of the Bankers Association of the Philippines (BAP) and Chairman of its Open Market Committee. He was also a past Secretary, Treasurer and Chairman of the Capital Markets Committee of the BAP and was the past Vice Chairman of the Philippine Clearing House and board member of the Philippine Depository and Trust Corporation. Prior to EastWest, he was the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of the International Exchange Bank. Mr. Moncupa holds a double degree in Economics and Accounting from De LaSalle University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
