Bowei Lee,CEO and chairman of the multi-billion US dollar LCY group, is a leading chemical executive in Asia Pacific. Under his leadership since 1990, the group has witnessed rapid expansion through both organic growth and mergers and acquisitions, with revenue and profit growing 18 times in 21 years.
Bowei was educated in the U.S, where he received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his MBA degree from Stanford University. He is currently an Advisory Council member of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Bowei was an American Institute of Chemist Scholar at MIT and a member of Tau Beta Pi and Sigma Xi. After working for Chevron Research in the Bay Area for several years, he returned to Taiwan to work for LCY Chemical Corp. in 1982.
