Daniel M. Tsai
Fubon Financial Holding Company Ltd.
Daniel M. Tsai joined Fubon Group in 1981. During his 30-year tenure, he has strived to grow the company in Taiwan while also leading Fubon's expanding into China and Hong Kong. Institutional Investor magazine cited him as the "Best CEO in Taiwan" in 2003, and under his management, Fubon Financial was singled out by Euromoney as Taiwan's number-one financial institution in terms of corporate governance for six consecutive years beginning in 2004.
Mr. Tsai is also involved in the telecommunication and cable TV sector. He is vice chairman of Taiwan Mobile, a leading convergent services provider in Taiwan. Mr. Tsai graduated from National Taiwan University in 1978, and received his master's degree in law from Georgetown University in 1979. He has served on the USC Board of Trustees since April 2012.
