Mr He Guangbei is Vice Chairman and Chief Executive of BOC Hong Kong (Holdings) Limited and Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited ("BOCHK") with overall responsibility for the business and operations of BOCHK. Joining BOCHK in 2003, Mr He has extensive banking and management experience. He joined Bank of China Limited ("BOC") in 1980 and has assumed various positions at BOC. He was also posted to BOC's branches in New York and Paris. He was Managing Director of BOC from 1999 to 2004 and Executive Vice President of BOC from 2000 to 2003.

Mr HE holds various public positions which includes being a member of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, member of the Advisory Committee of Qianhai Shenzhen-Hong Kong Modern Service Industry Corporation Zone, member of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority Exchange Fund Advisory Committee, member of the Banking Advisory Committee and member of Hong Kong-United States Business Council.
