Jun Mutoh first joined the company in 1982 after graduating with a degree in metal Engineering from Yokohama National University. Prior to his promotion to the position of President in June 2012, he held other positions in the company such as Manager, Wakayama Refinery in 2003, Director and manager, Wakayama Refinery in 2004 and Representative Director & Managing Director General Manager, Kawasaki Refinery and Chemical Plant in 2006. He also holds an MBA from Keiko Business School which he obtained in 1993.
