Tan Sri Lim Wee Chai, a Malaysian citizen, is the Chairman and founder of the Top Glove Group of Companies. Tan Sri Lim graduated with a Bachelor's of Science with Honors in Physics in 1982 from the University Malaya, Malaysia, and a Masters of Business Administration in 1985 from Sul Ross State University, Texas, United States.
Tan Sri Lim has achieved many milestones. In 1991, he set up Top Glove Sdn Bhd, a glove manufacturing and trading business with only 3 production lines. Under Tan Sri Lim's visionary stewardship, Top Glove has since grown to be the world's largest rubber glove manufacturer. Tan Sri Lim has been actively involved in several glove industry related associations and organizations in Malaysia. Most recently, he was appointed Council Member of The East Asia Business Council (EABC) by the Minister of International Trade and Industry Malaysia in 2011 and elected Council Member of the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) in 2010.

Established in 1991, Top Glove is the world's largest rubber glove manufacturer with 466 production lines, a production capacity of more than 40.7 billion pieces of gloves annually and 25%of the world market share. It owns and operates 25 manufacturing facilities (23 glove factories and 2 latex concentrate factories) located across Malaysia,Thailand and China. Top Glove specializes in producing a wide and diverse range of high quality natural rubber latex gloves (powdered/powder-free) and synthetic rubber gloves such as nitrile, latex, vinyl, cast polyethylene (CPE)and polyethylene (PE) gloves for the healthcare, food service and high-tech sectors.
