Mr. Masatoshi Ito joined Ajinomoto in 1971 and now holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and President of Ajinomoto Co. Inc. since 2009. Mr. Ito also serves as the Vice President of Food Products Company, the Advertising Dept. and the Health Services Development Dept. He served as Corporate Senior Vice President of Ajinomoto Co. Inc. from 2005 to 2009. He serves as a Director of Ajinomoto Co., Inc. He completed his graduation from the Keio University Faculty of Economics in 1971. Aside from his position of Chief Executive Officer, he holds the titles of Chairman in the Japan Food Association, President of the Association for Safety of Imported Food (Japan) and is a Member of the Board of the Consumer Goods Forum.
