Dato' Rohana Rozhan, a pioneer member of the Astro team, was appointed as CEO of Astro on 1 April 2011. She is also the CEO of MEASAT Broadcast Network Systems, Astro's TV business, since 2006. Prior to that, she was the group CFO and played key roles in the listing of Astro on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia.
Committed to consumerism and innovation in content, products and platforms, Rohana has led Astro to be one of South East Asia's leading producers, aggregators and distributors of multilingual content comprising the best of local, regional and international programming. Under Rohana's leadership, Astro has won local and international industry recognitions both on and off air including Brand of the Year 2012 and Brand Icon 2013, whilst Astro's signature content IP's like Raja Lawak, Oh MyEnglish!, Hua Hee and Vaanavil Superstar continue to resonate and grow their viewership base not only in Malaysia but regionally.
